About the Artist
I was born in England and emigrated to Canada in 1977. From 1972-1977 I set up and managed The Lithographic Workshop in London, England, where I printed editions for artists and collaborated as Master Printer with many artists from all over the world.
I have a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Printmaking from the Royal College of Art, London and a Diploma in Art & Design in Painting from Coventry College of Art. In 1997 I completed a Multimedia Computer Course at Digital Media Studios, Toronto.
I have been a printmaker for over 45 years and taught at many Universities, including Victoria, B.C., Western Ontario, Mount Allison, N.B., York, McMaster, & Guelph. I am currently retired Professor Emeritus of printmaking and digital imagery at the University of Guelph.
My work is a mixture of 3D painted constructions and prints in various media. My images are concerned with family, hereditary traits, DNA, botanical and scientific information. My work is in many public and private collections.
